Snow in Toronto

This is a picture I took of the snow in my back yard

It is March break. The sun is shining down on Toronto’s gigantic snow piles. Perhaps some day the snow will melt. I imagine spring flowers hibernating far below, staying warm in their bulbs. Please don’t wake up yet!  Snow! Snow! Snow! We hardly know where to put it anymore!  Last week, just before I went out to shovel snow (again!), I put pencil to paper and began to write a snow poem that turned into a poem about colours.

White If You Know : Your verses!
